Well, that’s where things get interesting…

How the Jacked Up Spud Got Its Name
Back in 1999, when we first created this piping hot, flavor-packed baked potato, we knew we had something special. The ingredients were a creation of Connie Pugh. But what we didn’t have? A name.
The debate was on! 🔥
Leo, one of our founders, loved the name "Jacked Up"—it captured the bold flavors and generous toppings.
Christy, our other founder, wasn’t so sure. She thought "Green Chili Spud" was a better fit and worried that “Jacked Up” might not sit well with customers.
With no final decision, Christy went out of town for a short trip, leaving the name undecided. And that’s when Leo made his move.
He put "Jacked Up Spud" on the restaurant’s reader board—and the rest is history!
Customers loved the name, and soon it became one of our best-selling menu items.
